“You know how to solve political correctness? Don’t do it.”~Brad Stine

"Only half the patients who go into an abortion clinic come out alive."~Author Unknown

"The fundamental human right, the presupposition of every other right, is the right to life itself. This is true of life from the moment of conception until its natural end. Abortion, consequently, cannot be a human right -- it is the very opposite. It is a deep wound in society."~ Pope Benedict XVI

"I have a right to nothing which another has a right to take away."~Thomas Jefferson

"Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote."~Benjamin Franklin

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."~Thomas Jefferson, quoting Cesare Beccaria

"If the solar system was brought about by an accidental collision, then the appearance of organic life on this planet was also an accident, and the whole evolution of Man was an accident too. If so, then all our present thoughts are mere accidents - the accidental by-product of the movement of atoms. And this holds for the thoughts of the materialists and astronomers as well as for anyone else's. But if their thoughts - i.e., of Materialism and Astronomy - are merely accidental by-products, why should we believe them to be true? I see no reason for believing that one accident should be able to give me a correct account of all the other accidents. It's like expecting that the accidental shape taken by the splash when you upset a milk-jug should give you a correct account of how the jug was made and why it was upset."~C.S. Lewis

"Why did God let this happen?" Because of one word, "OK."

It's funny, after Katrina and 9-11, thousands of people said things like, "Oh, how could God let this happen?" I don't like that kind of thinking. When a person said, "No praying in school!", we said "OK". When someone said, "No God or Bible in public places and school!", we said, "OK". When people started portraying Christians as the losers and the bad guys, even then we said, "OK." For decades we've been telling God, "Get out of our country! Get out of our lives!" And we, as Christians, have done extremely little about it. And then, when someone stands up for their rights and their faith, they get ridiculed and, often, punished. What do we say then? "OK." Crude jokes, horrid language, and sometimes downright evil is allowed in public places, but saying "Peace on Earth, good will toward men" gets you fined. If you tell God to get out of your country and your life, God being the gentleman that He is, He will say, "OK." We can't, as a nation, expect the blessing of God if we aren't willing to even let Him into our country. I think we need to turn back to God, and then maybe we can ask why He lets things happen, because, right now, He has no reason to stop disasters.

A tainted view of beauty...

Nowadays, people tend to idolize many things, and then, we, the Christians and the other Conservatives , tend to reject or--more commonly--ignore it. Not because it's bad, but because it's been misconstrued, manipulated, and valued/idolized for the wrong reasons. The best example is Beauty; in Hollywood, there are hundreds of actors and musical-artists who are idolized and paid millions, not for their talent, like we used to pay them and value them for, but because they're pretty. Ever heard some of the 'musicians' play or 'singers' vocalize? Not a pretty sound...yet, still we give them fame and fortune, for virtually no reason. No, I have nothing against actors/singers, or more, I have nothing against actors/singers who can really act /sing. But, I hate it when they put a hot person on stage/screen for no reason other than that they look good; for goodness sake, I came to see a story represented realistically, which requires people who can act and represent things so that we can't help but believe them, so get Hilton off the screens and put someone up there who can actually act! And if she looks good, all the better; but that is not what we want to see. Now, I guess I need to say that I love pretty girls. But I want a day in age where Beauty is admired, where people think, "Oh wow, she looks pretty.," and are happy seeing something that looks good. It shouldn't be something sexual, and it shouldn't be something that makes people think that they're better or worse than everyone else. We need to revive the day in age when people who didn't appeal to the eye were just as valuable as those that didn't. A day in age where it makes no difference other thatn how long we look at the person, where it doesn't change how valuable we consider a person to be. But, unfortunately, we live in a day in age where beauty is represented as being a thing that everyone should want to have, that it makes a person better to be pretty, that the pretty people are more valuable than the normal and ugly people. But really, this shouldn't surprise us. Atheism reigns, which says that there is no Ultamite Moral Authority, no Creator, no One Who cared enough to make each and every individual person, and considers every single person to be specail and loved unconditionally by God; so, to them beautiful people really should be better than everyone else. But Jesus Christ loves everyone, every pretty person, every normal person, and every ugly person. I like to look at pretty people, I hope someday I have a pretty wife, but that is not what I value most. What I value most in the people I see is this:

3. A mind that works to its fullest capacity, no matter how smart or dumb that maximum capacity may be.
2. A heart that loves others and treats them kindly.
And most of all,
1. The will to act in a good and decent manner, and to do what's right, even when it seems to be the less desirable path.

Pretty is nice, and if you are beautiful or have a beautiful person in your life, appreciate that gift, but don't idolize it.

The Defenseless British #2: What if they cry for help?

In the United States of America, if someone attacks you, and you yell for help, you will probably be assisted by someone with a gun, at which point the attacker becomes the attacked. In the United Kingdom, if you cry for help, and someone hears you...they can't be armed to help you; so then, they start yelling "Help!" too, but of course, no-one can help, because they are also all unarmed. Then of course, we have the cops (for those who don't know, C.O.P. stands for "Community Organized Police"), but knowing Britain, they'd probably just say, "Oh, he's armed, we should run away!" Armed and Safe has an older article that mentions that...

Here are some of my favorite gun quotes:

"Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." ~ Thomas Jefferson

"Here's my credo: There are no good guns, There are no bad guns. A gun in the hands of a bad man is a bad thing. Any gun in the hands of a good man is no threat to anyone, except bad people." ~ Charlton Heston

"... Mr. Clinton, sir, America didn't trust you with our health-care system. America didn't trust you with gays in the military. America doesn't trust you with our 21-year-old daughters, and we sure, Lord, don't trust you with our guns." ~ Charlton Heston

"You do not define the First Amendment. It defines you. And it is bigger than you. That's how freedom works. It also demands you do your homework. Again and again, I hear gun owners say, how can we believe anything the anti-gun media says when they can't even get the facts right? For too long, you have swallowed manufactured statistics and fabricated technical support from anti-gun organizations that wouldn't know a semi-auto from a sharp stick. And it shows. You fall for it every time." ~ Charlton Heston

Are you serious?

I just got the Lego 'Holiday' magazine. Not Christmas, Holiday. I then proceeded to check every word on every page of the magazine. The word 'Christmas' is not used once in the whole darn thing. They have Santa, 'Holiday', 'Season', Christmas trees, even 'Advent', but not once is 'Christmas' said, and there are few, if any, christmas trees with the Star of Bethlehem or and Angel on top. "Boo" for that, Lego. I still love your toys, though...

The toughest guy (other than God) in the history of the universe supports Huckabee!

That's right, Chuck Norris supports Huckabee. Firstly, go to Chuck Norris homesite. He's a really cool guy! Secondly, I think this is a major boost to Huckabee. If the toughest guy ever supports you for president, you have a good start. Remember, Norris is the guy who said that if he ever ran for president and got elected, he'd pull troops out of every country, then go in himself win the war alone...and he probably could!

I have officially removed Romney and Thompson from my list of supported candidates. Romney flip-flops too much, and Thompson keeps making mistakes in debates about all kinds of facts. Huckabee is the only person that I'd vote for (only person with any chance of winning, that is; I'd also vote for Hunter). Unfortunately, until the 2012 elections, I can't vote. Oh well...

You say, "No more death penalty!" I say,"'More death penalty!"

For those who don't know it yet, you'll be getting my opinion on punishment in this country. Many people say that we should try to make criminals nicer, to reform them and reintroduce them to society; guess what, we already do that with all the criminals that can be reformed (and, unfortunately, with most that obviously can't). Most can be reformed (after punishment, that is), but many can't be. But sometimes, reform isn't even something we should try. Can you honestly tell me that you could look a girl who was raped in the eye and say that you think her assailant should be released in ten years, to probably end up committing the same crime again? If you can do that, kill yourself. That was not a joke of any kind. If you can honestly justify the kind of evil that would be in a person if they could ever rape a girl, you don't deserve the right to Life that God Almighty gave you; a gift is given, and it can be taken away. In the Bible, practices like Rape, Sadism, and Murder were punishable by death, and I think maybe we should respect the wisdom that the Almighty Creator of the Universe gave us. I've grown tired of the predominance of society's 'understanding'; at the end of the day, you comitted the crime, the why doesn't really mean anything.

Biblical... Abortion? I think not!

Psalm 139:13-14
For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother's womb
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.

Exodus 21:22-23
If men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she gives birth prematurely, yet there is no is no injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman's husband may demand of him, and he shall pay as the judges decide. But if there is any further injury, then you shall appoint as a penalty life for life.

There are people out there, Liberals, that claim to be Christians, and who go around saying: "Oh, the Bible didn't condemn any of these things, so they're OK." By 'things', they mean abortion and Gayity. These 'Christians' have obviously never even bothered to pick up their Bible! There are enough verses on Gayity that I won't even bother listing them, but Abortion is different; since it didn't exist in large form in 1,500 B.C. (there were ways, IE pumping yourself so full of alchohol that it poisened the baby, etc.) God didn't have much to say about it. Didn't have 'much', but He did talk about it. Reading the above verses makes it quite clear where any true Christian should stand on this issue; if they don't have a pro-Life stance, they're either very misguided, or their salvation is doubtful. Remember one thing: saying that you are a Christian doesn't make you one, what makes you a Christian is trusting Christ as your Savior; and, if you really love God, you'll try as hard as you can to follow His commandments; so any 'Christian' who supports Gayity/Abortion, is someone I'd prefer not to be around. Except maybe to pull them from the fire.

Scientists have discovered a new Element!

I found this on my friend Ryan's MySpace. I don't know if he wrote or not, but I found it hilarious.

"The recent hurricanes and gasoline issues are proof of the existence of a new chemical element. A major research institution has recently announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science.

"The new element has been named Governmentium. Governmentium (Gv) has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.

"These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

"Since Governmentium has no electrons, it is inert; however, it can be detected, because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A minute amount of Governmentium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second to take over four days to complete.

"Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years; It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, Governmentium's Mass will actually increase over time, since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming isodopes.

"This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass.

"When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium...an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons."

Save our planet! It's going to blow up because of heat! Or not...(my blog for the "Action Day")

Hello. As many of you know, today is blog action day. This year, the theme is "the environment." My opinion is that this topic is overplayed, virtually useless, and that the major thing right now, 'Global Warming', is entirely falsified. Al Gore just won a Nobel Peace Prize for his Global Warming video, which was cited for, at last count I saw, nine scientific inaccuracies. Here is an article by the President of Accuracy in Academia denouncing this false claim. Here is a man named Dennis Avery, an Ecology reporter, denouncing it; these two are just two or many examples. Notice the dates on both of these articles: 2006. If Global Warming has had many prominent people denounce it in recent years, why hasn't it disappeared from schools? Why would Gore win the Nobel Peace Prize (what does this have to do with Peace?) for his video? Because Global Warming is fundamentally a Uniformitarian hypothesis (it is not a theory by the Scientific method), and Uniformitarianism is anti-Christian, and anti-Christian usually involves the Liberals. What source would get people to want Global Warming 'information' (or more, the lack thereof) removed from schools? The media. Who controls our media? The Liberals. Who supports Global Warming? The Liberals. As such, it should not be surprising that its major rebuttals are not frequently broadcasted on TV or printed in newspapers. It's not even that surprising that it could get a Nobel Prize, though why a Peace Prize is beyond me; it has nothing to do with Peace. It's better than it getting a Science award, though. It is my belief that, though Global Warming will fall, we will not see the end of these useless and inaccurate theories until we as a country return to the God whom this country was founded upon; if Liberals remove the foundation of Christianity and its morals that our Forefathers laid down, everything we have built upon that foundation will fall. If you ever wonder why our country's status andrespect from other nations is crumbling, remember that what I've said.

Say "Merry Christmas"

Well, pretty soon it's going to be that time of year again; soon, people will begin saying "happy holidays" again. This is an entirely idiotic thing to do. Know why? Becuase in the Christmas season (November through December/January), we have one historical holidy (which is called by name, and so it's irrelevant to this), one cultural holiday (which is also called by name, and so it too is irrelevant to this), one wierd holiday most people have never even heard of and so is irrelevant (this holiday is "Boxing day"), and two religious holidays. So...we're saying happy holidays for the purpose of two holidays? And one is Jewish, and the only thing I've ever seen offend a Jew is saying "you killed Jesus" (anyone who says that is retarded) and throwing them in concentration camps/the Gulag. So, we're saying "happy holidays" for one holiday. Holidays, plural, for one holiday? And to avoid saying the name of that one holiday? Say "happy holidays" and you are stupid! Don't even get me started on "season's greatings".

And honestly, there are only a few things that offend me (insults to Christianity, saying unborn babies aren't people and so can be murdered en masse, insults aimed specifically at race or color), but one thing that takes the cake is "X-mas". You chop the Name of my Savior out of His own holiday, because He offends you, and then you expect me not to care? Morons! What offends you about Him, saving the world that had wronged Him and killed Him so they wouldn't burn in Hell if they accept him...oh wait, maybe is the "Peace on Earth goowill to men" rhetoric? Because that's such a bad thing...

So, whenever someone says "happy holidays", or "season's greetings", or "happy X-mas", or some other cop-out, look them in the eye (have you noticed that is rare nowadays? More on that and other ex-common-courtesy things at a later date) and say, "Merry Christmas." (Emphasise Christ- when you say it.) This is very rewarding if the person is wearing some indicator of Liberal, anti-Religious, etc. opinions, or if they are leaving an ACLU fundraiser. :)

Illinois pro-second amendment

Well, back in March '07, several people started a pro-second amendment resolution, and we have good news. 47 of the 102 counties have passed it, four have results pending, 47 haven't done anything yet, and only 4 have failed it (+ a township in an undecided county supports the resolution). Looks like the traditionally anti-gun state is supporting our Constitution. Do you think that Champaign County, Marion County, Rock Island, and Stark County are getting lonely?

Communists!

Liberals hate Limbaugh. I love him. He shows things accurately and he's not afraid to start flaming people on either side when they act like idiots.

Anyway, as you read, our nation is having some problems (and guess who's causing them, the glorious saviors of the Motherland, er...U.S., the liberals). I resent only one thing in that article, that he said young people don't know what the Soviet Union was. Unfortunately, most young people today don't know what it was. They hear 'Stalin', and then say, 'Who?' Stalin... you know, the second most horrible and brutal man who ever lived. That guy. Joseph Stalin killed six million more people than Hitler's Nazis; Stalin's reign of terror cost 24 million (yes, million) lives, whereas Hitler's Nazis killed about 18 million. (Source here) The only thing that makes Hitler worse was that his death toll was accumulated over six years, Stalin's was established over decades. Now, when you read this, it's probably just a number to you. To quote Stalin, "One death is a tragedy; a million is a statistic," but just think about your friends; now imagine that Stalin wiped them out, and then proceded to kill a whole country full of people just like them (24 million is almost the population many countries). 24 million individual lives, each with a personality, intelligence, friends, family, hopes, dreams, and sometimes religion. Now, are you beginning to get it? This man established a state where people were told what to think, what to wear, what medicine to use, what to learn, what to say...and so on. If you disagreed, you died. Liberals are trying to establish a state (and I will fight it with all my might until the day they stop or the day I die) where we are being told:

What we can say
What medicine we can use
What religion we can be (at the moment, the only ones they'll accept are Atheist and Theistic Evolutionist)

Now, do you get the picture? Can you feel the impact of comparing liberals to Stalinists? Since you do, hear this:

I believe liberals are becoming more and more like Stalinists.

The Defenseless British

I've recently had some people tell me we should take after the British in our gun laws. I think not. They have not only put in the state-mandated lack of guns, but also of knives. Supposedly, more laws will keep criminals from getting weapons. Yes, gun/knife laws will keep lawbreakers from getting weapons, (sarcasm here) because lawbreakers care what the law says they can buy. And it sure helps doesn't it? Nope. I don't know about you, but I refuse to take after a nation with a crime rate not much smaller than ours, but with one fifth of the people.

What judge would rule against God?

As you can read here and here, Senator Ernie Chambers of Nebraska is suing God. Well, God responded. Whether is was actually God who gave the response or somebody who, like me, finds this to be a childish and stupid lawsuit (which Chambers said was the point), is debatable. I, personally, vote for the latter. But this gives rise to a few questions:

How can he sue God, Who is not a citizen of the United States of America?
How can he take God to court, since no summons was ever sent to God's recorded place of residence, namely, Heaven?
How could they get a summons to Heaven? Shoot someone and say, "Tell God this is his summons"?
What if the messenger goes down instead of up?
What if God actually showed up for trial? Example:

Judge: "Has the Defendant arrived yet?"
*Boom*
Plaintiff: *nervously* "I think He just did..."
God: "You called?"

What judge is stupid enough to rule against God? I mean come on, God could smite him.
How can you collect from God? Example:

Judge: "God, I order you to pay 50,000,000,000,000 dollars in damages to the world for these calamities."
God: "No."
Judge: "I order You to pay this sum."
God: "Make Me."
Judge: "We will."
God: "How?"
Judge: "Um...the, uh...the Devil? Couldn't he and his demons force You to pay?"
God: "I created the Devil and his demons, do you think they could do anything to hurt Me and make Me pay? The answer you should give Me is no. Besides, the angels outnumber them 2-to-1." (See Revelation 8:12 in the Bible for confirmation)
Judge: *whispers* "Senator, I don't think this is going to go well..."

This will be an interesting case to see the outcome of.

Remember 9-11

I will never forget the 3,000 innocent deaths. Will you forget them? I will never forget the men who have sacrificed themselves to protect my freedom, my rights, and my life; they paid with their lives. Will you forget them? I will never forget the people slaughtered brutally by a genocidal dictator. Will you forget them? The world will forget many things, but this I pray, that the people who died on the 11th of September and the soldiers who died afterwards will always be remembered, for as long as the Red, White, and Blue flies proud and strong. Osama, we're coming for you!
